What we store

Everything Kotamas remembers — your dog's name and breed, pomodoro preferences, streaks, stats, and achievements — lives in a plain settings file on your own computer. It never leaves your device and we never see it.

What we don't do

• No accounts, no sign-ups, no logins.
• No analytics, trackers, or advertising.
• No data sent to us or to any third party.

Steam & Cloud sync

If you own Kotamas through Steam, you may optionally use Steam Cloud to sync your settings between your own machines. That sync is handled entirely by Steam under Valve's privacy policy — we don't receive or process any of it.

This website

kotamas.app sets no cookies and loads nothing from third parties. When you use one of its links to leave the site (to Steam, the trailer on YouTube, TikTok or nalorastudio.com), the link passes through kotamas.app/go/ and we count the click anonymously: which link it was, where on the page it sits, the page language and the country our host (Cloudflare) reports for the request. We store nothing that identifies you (no IP address, no browser details, no identifier), so we cannot tell who clicked or link two clicks to the same person.

The destination receives a utm_source=kotamas-site tag in the address so it knows the visit came from here; what it records from then on is covered by its own privacy policy. The Kotamas app itself collects nothing (see above).
